ROBERT LEDINGHAM Obituary

ROBERT M. LEDINGHAM (Bobo)
Mr. Robert Ledingham (Bobo) passed away peacefully at home following his battle with cancer.

He was predeceased by his wife Gail and daughters Rosalind and Lorraine.

Bobo was born in Glasgow, Scotland April 25, 1943. He served 21 years in the Canadian Armed Forces serving several tours overseas where he met his wife Gail. He immigrated to Canada with his family in 1967. Bobo retired from the forces in 1980 to join the Thunder Bay Police Services as a Supervisor then retired from his position there in 2001. Bobo enjoyed his yearly trips to Texas to play golf, his yearly trips to Cuba with his son-in-law Murray, especially to catch the fish of a lifetime. Any chance he had to go fishing, he was there, rain or shine. "A bad day of fishing always beats a great day at work." He loved playing crib in Cuba and gin with Sheryl, he'd always remember the cards played.

Bobo never missed a Boston Bruins game and loved rubbing it in when they won against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Robert is survived by his grandchildren Clayton (Marissa), Amanda, James (Lindsey), Darcy (Keltie), Lindy (Jamie) and great grandchildren Maverick, Mckenzie, Kaelyn, Peyton, Michael, Marcus and Lily.

Cremation has taken place, Celebration of Life to happen at a later date.
