Robert Wesley Obituary
Bob Wesley, 78, of Thunder Bay, Ontario, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. Born in 1938 in Hearst, Ontario to Samuel and Emelda Wesley having spent most of his life in Thunder Bay. Bob is survived by his wife Daisy (Linklater) of 46 years his children Marilyn, Rob (Diana), Justin, and Sam. His brothers, Dave, and Joe; his sisters Annie, Louise, Theresa, Frances, Helen, Lucia, Yvonne, Alice and Stella. He is predeceased by his parents Samuel and Emelda, his brothers Stanley and Steve, and his sisters Mary and Dorothy. Bob brought laughter to all those he knew, he always had a joke and something funny to say. He was employed for 19 years as a Maintenance Worker for the Native People of Thunder Bay Development Corporation retiring in 2003. He often told people about being incarcerated and wanting to go back to The Rock; in 2013 at age 75, his lifelong dream of going to Alcatraz became a reality. Bob enjoyed playing his guitar, his numerous conversations with his sisters and brothers, his visits with his grandchildren and great grandchildren Jonah, Matthew (Mateo), Kiara (The Key), Cameron (Camerone), Jayda (Condoleezza), Charlie (Chuck), Anthony, Cynthia, David, Brandon, Emily, Dominick, Thayron, and Angel. Visitation Services will be on Sunday, June 5, 2016 from 2:00PM until 4:00PM at Jenkens Funeral Home, 226 South Syndicate Ave., Thunder Bay, Ontario. The Celebration of Life Services will be at 11:00AM on Monday, June 6, 2016 at St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church, 294 Red River Road.

We are very saddened to hear of our uncle Bob's passing. We spent a good deal of time at Uncle Bob's and Aunt Daisy's home during our time in Thunder Bay. Their house was always open and comforting.
He was a true character with an unmatched brand of humour. As children we sometimes didn't get his dry wit (we weren't sure if we should laugh or cry lol). Even as adults we still weren't sure but you could bet that Uncle Bob was up to something and in the end left you smiling and laughing.
We are forever grateful for our Uncle Bob, his wife Daisy and our cousins Sam, Robbie and Justin.
