RODERICK CAMPBELL Obituary


With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Roderick Glenn Ely Campbell on August 27th, 2024. Born on March 21st, 1966, in Fort William, Ontario, to Lynn Caral Beebe (née Campbell) and Clayton Stanley Beebe. As a child, he loved visiting family in Northern Manitoba, where he earned the name "Kishenew," meaning "old man"" in Cree. Roddy enjoyed playing hockey, trapping with his grandpa, and was a devoted Boston Bruins fan. His greatest joy was spending time with friends and family. Roddy is survived by his daughters, Caitlin (Simon) and Madelyn Campbell; his siblings Darren (Melanie), Bruce, and Amanda Beebe; and his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Lynn and Clayton, and grandparents, Elsie, Glenn, Barbara, and Wellington. A Celebration of Life for Roddy will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024,at 11:00 am in the Blake Funeral Chapel, 200 May Street South.
