Rodney Chambers Obituary
Mr. Rodney Chambers, age 72 years, resident of Thunder Bay, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital Hospice Unit, with family by his side on Friday, May 19, 2023. Born on July 21, 1950 in Port Arthur, he was raised and educated in Thunder Bay and attended Gron Morgan Memorial High School. He was employed as a custodian with Thunder Bay Telephone, retiring in 2005 after 34 years of service. Rodney enjoyed motorcycle riding, sailing and was a member of St. Stephen's Church. Rodney is survived by spouse Gwen, 3 children and 5 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, siblings and numerous aunts and uncles. Cremation has taken place. As per Rodney's wishes a Memorial Service will be held at a later date, for details contact [email protected]. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Northwest would be greatly appreciated.

I extremely sorry for your loss of such a fun and wonderful Man. I enjoyed meeting up with Rodney and Gwen with Shelley at Tim Horton's on Oliver. There was always a story being shared. The love this family shared together was immeasurable and was proven to the end. What a lucky family to have had such a wonderful leader at the helm. Hugs too all..but especially my friend Shelley
