Roland Couture

With profound sadness and deep regret, we announce the sudden and unexpected death of Roland (Rolly) Couture who passed from this life at 63 years old on Friday May 26th, 2017. Rolly will be fondly remembered as being the life of the party, the laughter behind the words, the creator behind his fine craftsmanship, and as the pillar of strength in uniting family and friends alike. His great generosity, positivity, and childlike glee will resonate through our hearts to eternity and beyond. 

He will be deeply missed, forever loved and respected by his family and friends. Beloved husband of Gabrielle Couture and dearest father of daughters Dawn Law (Jason) grandchildren Tyler and Emma, Tanya Couture, Ruby Couture (Michael) grandchildren Cayden and Xavier, Josée Couture (Charles) grandchildren Maya and Miko. He is survived by his brothers Donald and Yvon Couture, sisters Linda Couture and Murielle Gagné. Predeceased by his mother Simone Couture, father Donat Couture, and brother Romain Couture. 

Family and friends will be received at St. Theresa's Parish in Geraldton, ON, on Saturday June 3, 2017 from 12 to 1 pm. The funeral ceremony will follow at 1 pm. Afterwards a Celebration of Life will be held at the family's home located at 10012 Hwy 11, Longlac, ON. The interment will be held at a later date.
