1955 – 2016
It is with great sadness that Rolf's family shares the news of his sudden passing on February 22, 2016.
Rolf is survived by Christine, his loving spouse (mother-in-law Joan), his wonderful children Madeline, Jack, Abigail, Jennifer, Derrick (Katrina), Steven and Dawn, and his precious grandchildren Reed, Gibril, Zack, Shelby, Samantha, Gavin, Sophie and Riley.
Rolf is also survived by his loving mother Roselinde, brothers Garry (Pat) and Brian, sister Debra and several nieces and nephews. Predeceasing Rolf is his father Erich.
Long-time employee of Recool/Potters, Rolf was very hardworking and extremely proud of his wonderful children and grandchildren. He loved the outdoors and had a special bond with nature and God's little creatures. Rolf will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
A special thank you to Elks 82's Peewee AA for their incredible performance in a game dedicated to Rolf, Tuesday night, Feb. 23rd. Tanner Drazecky and rest of team, thank you for your friendship and support
TBRHSC ER team of staff and management for their compassion & support provided to Christine, Abby, Jack and Maddy and all extended family & friends who have gone the extra mile to send food, flowers, cards, support and caring words, Christine & family personally thank all of you for your kind ways.
In keep with Rolf's and his family wishes, cremation will take place, with a celebration of life & scattering of ashes this summer at Rolf's favorite place.
In lieu of flowers, a family trust has been established for Rolf's children's. My deepest sympathies go out to Rolf's wife, children, siblings and especially to his mother Linda. I grew up knowing the Michelis family and although life took us in different directions as adults, when I was a kid, I always considered Rolf one of my "big brothers".

Wasn't the same, going to work Tuesday without you being there. Grateful for the years we worked together, and will always be grateful for you getting me to work everyday, when everything was going wrong! You went above and beyond, and saved my butt big time! Your friendship & generosity is what I'll never forget! Will miss you my friend!
