She later moved to Hurkett with her husband Hugo. There they ran the Danielson Store and the post office and they also owned and operated a school bus. Rose loved her garden, playing Bingo and scratching lotto tickets. On any given day you could stop by and enjoy some homemade bread or scones or some of her famous pancakes. At the ripe young age of 89, Rose moved with her daughter Valerie to Oakville and decided to see the world. She travelled to Florida 3 times meeting Mickey Mouse himself. She also travelled to Ottawa for Canada Day and all throughout Southern Ontario enjoying the fresh fruit as she went. Grandma loved her babies and could always be counted on to rock them to sleep. Grandma Rosie will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. She will remain in our hearts forever. A special thanks goes out to the staff of the Oakville Trafalgar Hospital and especially Dr. Morris. Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date."
