ROY SEMENIUK Obituary

MR. ROY SEMENIUK
With sadness we announce Roy's sudden passing on Sunday, January 14, 2024. Born in Manitoba, then at a young age moved to Thunder Bay where he worked doing various jobs. Later he moved around working at a mine, a metal processing plant, silica sand plant and owned his own store. Roy enjoyed meeting people, travelling and when younger made time to take his siblings on trips in his cars. He helped out at churches and in his later years brought new friends to church then lunch. Roy enjoyed going to the races, car shows, casinos, bingo and most of all going fishing with his brother Rob. They found new lakes, hiked in or boated to their usual spots at Flanders or Shebandowan catching their limit and always coming back with a story. Roy was a collector of cards, coins, old toys, bottles, comics among other items and he could be found stopping in at yard sales. He was proud to talk about his collections. Roy will be sadly missed by his brother Rob and Coreen Haichuck, sisters Ruth and Don Ennis, Rose Clowes, Ruby Lucas, nieces and nephews and other family.

Though grief may try to hold us down, joy comes in the end knowing one day because of Christ, we will be joined once more. We love you.
