Saddened to learn of Gordie's passing. He was a true character...one most memorable event was when he sat on and burst our only football at St.James school. Sincere condolences to the family.

Sorry for the loss of a great person, down to earth and funny. Successful business man and charitable. Never flaunted his success and enjoyed work people and storytelling
I will miss him and remember the memories of helping him get Sasi water up and running.
I met him in January when I was in the hospital. That same old smile and laugh.
Rest in peace my friend.
May your family enjoy the many memories.

Dear Sam, Donna and Susan & families, I am so sorry to learn that Gord has passed away. He was a great man, always kind, friendly & ready to help! I have known Gord since early 80's & spent a lot of time at auctions, flea markets (The Barn) , coffee at Warehouse 500 etc!! When I had a small store for a while , he always helpful & had great advice.
sincerely

My sincere condolences go out to the family. Gordon was a fine gentleman! He always made sure the City of Thunder Bay crews had lots to eat for overtime meals when they were out in the cold! My father knew him well!
