SARAH ST. PIERRE

With heavy hearts, the family of Sarah Marie St. Pierre, age 48 years announces her passing on Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with her loving family by her side.

Sarah was born on October 2, 1975, in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Sarah has a love for food and trying out new recipes. She enjoyed helping Terry restore the 35' Plymouth and riding the wind on the Road King. Sarah loved music, especially Prince and Celine Dion. Sarah adored all animals whether wild or stray and could often be sighted feeding all that crossed her path. She loved gardening, fishing, camping and the annual trip to Terrace Bay.

Sarah will be lovingly remembered by her spouse Terry Forbes, mother Cheryl (Kevin) Tilbury, sister Lisa St. Pierre (Marty Wood), brothers Michel (Katherine) St. Pierre and Matthew Tilbury (Samantha), brother-in-law Ronald (Ginny) Forbes, sister-in-law's Muriel (Gary) Kew and Donna (Ed) Ronald as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Sarah was predeceased by her father Henri St. Pierre, grandparents George and Jacqueline St. Pierre and Arthur and Marie Smith, In-laws Margaret and Sam Forbes and by her beloved canine companion "Stepper".

The family wishes to thank Sarah's doctors and the palliative care team at the TBRHSC for their care and compassion.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, in the chapel of Sargent and Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an animal rescue of your choosing to honour Sarah's love of animals.
