He worked at Provincial Papers in security for 30 years and continued to work in the security industry after retirement. He was married to his wife Jackie in 1977 and they celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary in 2017. Seppo enjoyed spending summers at camp on One Island Lake, travelling around North America, driving his orange 1968 Camaro and talking cars with his friends, and most of all time spent with his family.

Seppo is survived by his wife Jackie, sons Eric (Lauren) and Kevin (Dana), and many relatives in Finland. He was predeceased by his parents Aarne and Lempi.

Cremation has taken place and a private ceremony will take place at a later date. Friends and family are welcome to drop in for a small visitation at the Ala-Pantti home on Sunday, May 13th between 1pm and 4pm. Donations may be made in Seppo's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

So saddened to hear about Seppo's passing. Worked with him at Provincial and he would always bring a smile to my face. Ran into him a few times at the Airlane as well.
My condolences to his family...he will be dearly missed!

Sending my deepest, most sincere condolences. He always had a smile and a wave when going past the gatehouse at Provincial Papers. Always loved that rumblin' sound of his Camaro SS.

It is with such sadness that I read this. Seppo was a good neighbourfor over 23 years. Teasing me about my Taurus Wagon when he had the Sable. Helping me is little ways. Just being a happy face in the neighborhood. As a lunch room monitor, he made many students happy. Seppo, you will be missed.
