Claire, Margaret and families.
It was sad news to learn of Sharon´s recent passing. I met Sharon in the very early seventies through both being introduced to the Selkirk staff. Over the many years I have very fond memories being shared by Sharon and her family. Her welcoming smile and greeting every time we met is a strong memory to remain as the wonderful person she was. It was always a joy going into shop at Shopper´s or just to say hello she was always there to serve you with her big hello. Sharon your dear Mom and dear friend to many will be dearly missed. As you journey through her loss keep her close in heart daily . My thoughts and prayers are with all of you God Bless!

I´m so sorry to hear of your mom´s passing. I´ve been doing her hair at the home, for the past year. She really was a lovely lady, and I really enjoyed our weekly chats.

Sorry to hear about Sharon's passing. I found out about her passing from a coworker at Shoppers Home Health Care 20 years ago or so, who posted this Obituary on Facebook. The person who posted the obit thought very highly of Sharon as did I. Many other coworkers commented under the post as well. She had an impact. She was Sharon Gartrell. Wayne has a comment on this Obituary Site with a photo, and he says unfortunately he is in it. No way. Whatever that moment was, is perfect in my opinion. To post that, says a lot, from you. Many feel the same way about Sharon
. My Condolences to all!

Oh so sad to read this obituary. Sharon & I went to school together & I was a great pal of her father's when he worked at Canada Car as a guard (I believe) Joe was a great man - Sharon was a great pal and I often wondered where she was never bumping into her at stores locally. Please know I am sorry for your loss.

Claire and Margaret,
I just read your Mother´s obituary in our CJ. My condolences to all of you. I have a lot of fond memories of the two of you and of your Mother when our paths crossed. It has been a lot of years since that happened. It is nice to know that she relocated to Southern Ontario to be closer to both of you. Take Care.

Claire and Margaret, I'm saddened to hear of your Mother's passing. Your Mom and I were teenage sweethearts in the late 50s and early 60s. I have thought of her whenever my T.B memories surfaced. I'm going to try to upload a picture of your Mom from back then. Unfortunately I'm included. R.I.P. Sharon.
