My most sincere condolences to all of Sharron´s beloved family. Sharron and I met in first grade @ Prospect Elementary when she and her beautiful mom, Molly, lived on Dawson Street. Though distance separated us after marriage, we managed to keep in touch, our last conversation in April. Your tribute to Sharron encompasses all of her lovely qualities that I will never forget. We shared a love of teaching "littles" and of our grandchildren. Rest in peace my beautiful friend.

Mrs. Skunta was the very first teacher I ever had - Kindergarten at Prospect - and she was the absolute epitome of Kindergarten teachers. Her gentle, yet encouraging way, her warm, kind smile, and how she made every day fun, all added up to an incredibly special teacher. It's no wonder I loved school back then! I know how fortunate I am to have been one of her students, to feel cared for and encouraged by her.
Fast forward to my adult years, she always recognized me when I saw her out and about or, if she ran into my mom, would ask about me and my sisters. And I know I'm not the only one! How she remembered so many of us is truly a marvel.
My most heartfelt condolences go out to her family and friends.

We have known Sharron for a long time and also her Mom, Molly. Her mom was very elegant and Sharron followed in her footsteps. Sharron's life was one well lived as obvious in her obituary. She will be missed by many.

To Mrs. Skunta´s family, I am saddened to hear of her passing. Mrs .Skunta was my kindergarten teacher at Prospect Public School and I always fondly remembered her and as well she remembered me when I would see her out shopping. Sharron was such a lovely woman who was a very creative teacher. One of her favourite days was St. Patrick´s Day. Somehow when the children were out for recess the Leprechauns would sneak into her classroom leaving their foot prints around the classroom and a message at the office! Such fun for everyone. Our years at Forest Park are memorable. Sharron will be missed.

Dear Kristi and family. You have such great memories of your wonderful Mom and Grandma. Too me she was at first such a kind teacher bringing her students to the farm but then when you came to work st the farm, she was so proud of you.

Mrs. Skunta was such a lovely and impactful teacher to me. I will always remember the fieldtrips to your home to rake n play in the leaves, or learning about gardening, but my most favorite memory was that time my friend Chris and I took off on our bikes to visit Mrs. Skunta where we sat and enjoyed a soda and chatted. Upon return to our street we were met with our panicked parents as we forgot to tell them where we went. We were ground for weeks from our bikes but it was worth it because it was such a great visit and now it is a lasting memory.
My condolences to her family during this time.

I cannot find the words to adequately describe this beautiful woman. She was a loving, gentle teacher whom her students loved. Her quiet confidence and warm smile endeared her to all teaching staff.....and her love for Lawrence was SO obvious. Sharron was just a standout in every aspect of her life. Rest in peace beautiful woman. Sincere condolences to the family.
