SHAWN FLINT Obituary

FLINT It is with deep sadness that the family of Shawn Kenneth Flint announce his passing on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at home with family by his side.

Born in 1962, Shawn grew up in Vickers Heights with his friends and family. He worked for the City of Thunder Bay for over 35 years. Upon retirement, Shawn found joy in jamming and preforming with his band, "The Road Apples". He was one to make friends anywhere he went and will be missed by many.

Shawn is survived by his partner, Johnna Miller; and brothers, Rod (Diane), and Jeff (Cindy).

Predeceased by his parents, John and Dorothy; and brothers, Frank and Jake.

Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northern Cancer Fund through the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation in Shawn's memory would be greatly appreciated.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the TBRHSC Oncology Unit, as well as the staff at Paramed for their excellent care.

My sincere condolences on Shawn's passing. I had the pleasure of working with him on different administrative issues at Mountain view Cemetery. He did a great job there and I always respected his commitment to serving the community during their time of grief - not always an easy task.
