SHIRLEY BRANNAN

Shirley passed away peacefully with family by her side. Her family was her greatest joy, she was our most enthusiastic supporter. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Cliff. Proud mother to Glenn (Verna), Lisa (Nancy) and Wayne (Liz). Even prouder Grandma to Sarah and Nicole. Shirley is survived by her sisters, Elsie MacLeod, Sydney, Carolyn (Frank) Jones, Sydney and Lynn (Dennis) Barnhill, Greenfield; sisters-in-law, Donna Harnish, St. Peters, and Rosena Harnish, Sydney; brothers-in-law, Alan Blois and Larry Hosanna. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Eileen MacRae, Ronola Stone, Bessie Cullen, Mary Blois, Becky Hosanna, and Sandy Murrin; and brothers, Buddie, Basil, Bill, Robert and one brother in infancy. As per Shirley's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held in St. Peter's, Nova Scotia, at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff from Monarch Manor at Pioneer Ridge for their wonderful care, and Dr. Cappello and the staff at the Fort William Clinic for years of outstanding care. Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Northern Cancer Fund. Arrangements are in care of the Sargent & Son Funeral Directors, 21 N. Court Street.
