Sophie Wally

Sophie (Sokoloski) Wally born February 24, 1919, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 13, 2002 at Grandview Lodge with her family by her side. She lived a fruitful life with many cherished memories. She enjoyed many moments entertaining her numerous grandchildren. Her favourite past time was baking and making perogies. Her one soul companion was her beloved dog Panouk. She loved the outdoors, gardening and providing homecare services to the special needs for many years. She is survived by her children Peter Sokoloski (Pat), Steve Sokoloski (Penny), John Sokoloski, Dolly McMillan (Tom), 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Mary and Ivan Kashuba, husbands Steve Sokoloski and Steve Wally, son-in-law Edward Anderson and grandchild Allan Anderson. A memorial service will be held at Grandview Lodge on Tuesday, September 17, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Campbell officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society or a Charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated."
