February 7, 1933 ~ March 17, 2026
It is with profound sadness that the family of Stanley Budzyk announces his passing after a brief illness, at the age of 93.
Stan is survived by his sons Ken (Sherry) and Chris (Christine). He is also survived by his granddaughter Jessica and great grandchildren Serafina and Jaxon.
Stan was predeceased by his very much loved and missed wife Anja and his parents John and Winnie.
His parents immigrated to Canada from Ukraine and raised him in Ozone, Ontario, before moving to the big city of Nipigon, Ontario, where he met the love of his life Anja. From there the two went on to raise their much loved sons and enjoyed over 60 years of marriage.
Stan worked as a salesman for many years spanning decades and many miles. He shared fond memories of Scott Paper, Humphrey Sanitation, and Cox Food Brokers. His stories from those days were always entertaining, but he was always happiest just being at home, maybe BBQing for his family and enjoying a bottle of beer.
Stan's sense of humour will be greatly missed, along with the twinkle in his eyes that matched his laugh.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Stan's Life will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 where he and his beloved Anja will be laid to rest together at Riverside Cemetery on their wedding anniversary.
