One year ago you went away, I could never hold you again; the darkness has set in and I am still searching for the light again; One year ago, the girls and I lost you, we pray for your return, but most of all I know you are watching over us from above; One year ago, you and I held each other tight and prayed for an end in sight; One year ago you went away and life has ceased and changed in so many ways; I pray every night to see you again, and every night when I close my eyes you always fill in my dreams; one year ago today is closer to when I get to be with you again. Goodbye is not forever or the end, it just means the girls and I will miss you until we meet again....
