SUSAN LANDVERSITCH Obituary

LANDVERSITCH (Inman)
Mrs. Susan Mae Landversitch (Inman), aged 71 years, passed away at home with her husband by her side on Tuesday August 26, 2025. She was born on September 14, 1953, in Fort William (Thunder Bay), Ontario. Susan's family was first and foremost in her heart.

Susan was a proud and active member of the Thunder Bay community. After retiring as a dedicated bank administration officer with the Bank of Commerce, where she worked for 23 years, she poured her energy into volunteering. She served as president of the West Thunder Community Centre and lent her time and skills to the Thunder Bay Minor Football Association (TBMFA), and the Red Cross. Passionate about helping others, she also organized and ran free volunteer income tax clinics for seniors and individuals with special needs.

Susan had a special connection to the community and even ran for Wesfort Council in 2000 and 2004. A two-time cancer survivor, she faced life's challenges with resilience and a fighting spirit.

She will be remembered for her many passions and hobbies. She was an avid baker and a talented knitter, with her knitting work earning awards at the Hymers Fair. Her love for knitting extended beyond her own enjoyment, as she donated many of her creations. Susan also enjoyed showing her Newfoundland dogs and the outdoors. She cherished memories of swimming at the Garden Avenue pond and camping with her family.

Susan is survived by her loving husband, Robert Alan Landversitch; her son, Alan Landversitch (Laura); her grandchildren, Samuel, Hazel, and Violet Landversitch; and her sister, Janet Forbes.

She was predeceased by her father, Clarence Inman; her mother, Etta Inman (Kerr); her brother, Timothy Inman; and her step-mother Elizabeth.

A burial and family celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Yesterday

Sending my sincere sympathy at the passing of Susan. She was a very special lady who was always ready to lend a helping hand even when she was busy with other commitments. I so appreciated her help with the annual fundraiser held for patients of the Renal Unit, with her donations of boxes of baking and handiwork. I enjoyed every opportunity I had to visit with her and you Alan.
May peace be with you and your family as you treasure loving memories.
