I didn't know of Susan's passing till today when I messaged Tom Porett,
Janey's husband, to remember her passing 4 years ago. So sad. As first
cousins (my dad was Red Jim's brother) our whole life growing up was Silver Islet. It reminds us of our short stay on this orb, Never met Sonny
but he was very lucky to have such a good life with Susan. Best to all

I remember Susan nearly 30 years ago when I volunteered for "Via Vitae". She was the Executive Director. I was living in Thunder Bay at that time.
She was a compassionate and keen woman.I learned much from her.
I don't know there loved ones, but just know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult time.
Please take care of yourselves and each other.

Sonny, I am so sorry to hear about Susan's passing. She was such a beautiful person and I loved all of the times I spent with her. She was a wonderful photographer and she invited me to join the photo club, which I did, and that is what ignited my love of photography. I am so glad I got to see you and Susan here in the Sault. I have very fond memories of both of you and your kindness to me. My heart goes out to you Sonny, and your family as well. Susan will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. xoxo

Dear Sonny and family - we are so very saddened to learn of Susan's passing. Sue and I worked together during her early years at Confederation College. She was a wonderful, kind, warm and compassionate person as well as an outstanding employee. I will always remember her beautiful smile and her remarkable calmness and patience. I consider myself fortunate to have known and worked with such a remarkable woman. Our deepest condolences.
