It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Tapio Ilmari Yrjana at his home on Monday, May 7, 2018. Tapio had been in failing health in his later years. Tapio was born on October 15, 1931 in Finland and immigrated with his family to Canada in 1960. Tapio lived in Northwestern Ontario, working in forestry and then later in construction as a carpenter. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jari Lahtinen officiating. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
