Tara Roy

Tara Marie Roy (Lamb), age 42 years, resident of 381 Minstrel Bay, passed away peacefully at TBRHSC on Saturday, December 11th, 2010. Tara was born June 16th, 1968 in Thunder Bay. She was raised and educated in Thunder Bay and attended Hammarskjold High School, and Confederation College (Nursing Program). She was employed as an RN with McKellar Hospital, CCAC and TBRHSC. Tara enjoyed spending time with her children, husband and family. She was a member of the Ontario Nurses Association. Tara is survived by her husband Paul Roy, children Josua and Emma, parents Maureen Lamb and Jim Lamb, brother Warren, her mother-in-law and father- in-law Lawrence and Susan Roy, brother-in-law Denis and sister-in-law Catherine, nephew and niece Nathan and Grace and many special friends. A Memorial service will be held at St. Patrick's Cathedral at 1:30 pm on Saturday, December 18th, 2010 with Father Pat Stilla officiating. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Tara's memory, to an Educational Fund for her children at any of the RBC'S in Thunder Bay or the charity of your choice.
