Teegan Gibbon Obituary

It is with profound sadness and heartbreak, we announce the sudden passing of Teegan James Gibbon, who left us far too soon at the age of 17 on May 11, 2025.

Born on April 19, 2008, Teegan brought light and joy into the world from the very beginning. A young man full of life, adventure, and generosity. Teegan found joy in the outdoors and in every season, whether he was riding his dirt bike, snowboarding, snowmobiling, mountain biking or playing football. But some of his favourite moments were the ones fishing at camp alongside his brother Callan. He was also blessed to be able to share a lot of these interests with his girlfriend whom he cared deeply for.

Teegan's personality was much like his moms- driven by a strong desire to be good at everything he did. He approached life with humility, focus, and care and was always the first to offer a hand. He shared a special connection with his dad through their love of fixing things and looked forward to spending quality time working on their next project. He had a bright future ahead of him and a presence that will never be forgotten.

He will be forever loved and deeply missed by his parents Shelley and Daniel Gibbon, his brother Callan, his grandparents Donald and Deborah MacLeod, William Gibbon, and Gloria DiGiuseppe. He leaves behind a large extended family who cherished him dearly: Linda Gibbon, Dave Bragg, Logan and Hunter Bragg, Ricky, Dani, and Slater MacLeod, Jennifer, Chase, Bennett, and Isabella Dika, and his loving dog Chewy.

Teegan's memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His time with us, though far too short, was filled with love, laughter, and adventure.

His family would like to extend a big thank you to everyone that has reached out to share their memories of Teegan and offering unwavering support during this incredibly difficult time. Details for a celebration of life will be shared with friends and family in the coming days.

We are deeply sorry for the loss of Teegan. My sons shared the bus with him and went to school together. We live on Intola Road and often saw Teegan riding his dirt bike and snow machine. He reminded us so much of our older son, who shares similar interests. Please know that our hearts are with you, and we´re here to help in any way you need.
