TERRY ALEXANDER Obituary

ALEXANDER
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of a beloved husband, father, brother, papa, and friend. Mr. Terry Alexander, age 67 years, resident of Thunder Bay, passed away unexpectedly at his home of 45 years on March 14, 2025. He was employed as a millwright at Resolute, retiring in 2013 after 37 years of service. Terry is survived by his wife Joeann of 44 years, sons Jeff (Taina) and Aaron, grandchildren Carter and Aliina, mother Ann, brother Lance (Jan), as well as aunts, nieces, nephews, and special friends. Terry's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His sudden departure has left a void that will be impossible to fill, but we are forever grateful for the many years and memories we shared with him. His love, kindness, and humour will be deeply missed. Cremation has taken place, and a service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church commencing at 11a.m. with Reverend Joyce presiding.

I remember hanging out with Jeff and uncle Terry. Uncle Terry was writing a thank you letter for promotion he had recently received at work and he wasn´t sure what to say. He wanted to express gratitude but didn´t want to come across as too grateful. I remember suggesting he say something like "thank you for this somewhat mediocre opportunity" as a joke and we all laughed and laughed.

As a child I spent a lot of time with uncle Terry and auntie Jo. They were always kind and loving. For a long time in many ways it was a second home. Thank you for being a wonderful part of my life uncle Terry.
