TERRY VICTOR SMITH
Terry Victor Smith, 70, of Thunder Bay, Ontario, peacefully passed away on October 23, 2023, in New Westminster, British Columbia. Terry was born on November 11, 1952, in Thunder Bay, Ontario, to Ellen and Gordon Smith, who preceded him in death. Terry was known for his humorous and lighthearted nature. He had a contagious laugh that brought joy to those around him. With a determined spirit, Terry showcased his mechanical talents throughout his life. He had a passion for camping and fishing, finding solace and tranquility in nature. Terry was also a devoted curling fan, always cheering on his favorite teams at the Port Arthur Curling Club. In his professional life, Terry dedicated years of service to The City of Thunder Bay waterworks division. His commitment and hard work were greatly valued by his colleagues. Terry will be deeply missed by his surviving sons, Adam, and Joey Smith (Michelle). He is also survived by his brothers Bob Smith (Cheryl), Bruce Smith (Debbie), Brian Smith (Rita), and Rick Smith (Fedita). Terry leaves behind Grand Children Kieran and Kaelyn and numerous nieces and nephews, who will cherish his memory. A cremation service will be held in New Westminster, British Columbia. The family kindly requests that contributions be made to the Fraserside Community Services Society online at fraserside.bc.ca in Terry's honour. His legacy of love and laughter will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know him.
