THERESE SAYA 1926 - 2025
As you read this obituary you will realize that I wrote it myself. Passed away on December 21, 2025, at the age of 99. I was predeceased by my husband William, my sons Michael, James, and Paul but survived by my son John of North Bay, Michael's husband Kevin Saya-Moore of Kelowna, my daughter Mary (Milan Verescak) of Thunder Bay and my son Robert of Sudbury. I was grandmother to Sean Verescak (Kaitlyn Dubeau), Andrew Verescak (Beth MacMillan), Jeremy Saya and Kalysta Saya (Matt Rainville). Also G.G. to Sophie, Emma, and Penelope Verescak. I was born in North Bay where I lived for most of my life but moved to the Walford Residence in Thunder Bay in 2019 to be closer to my daughter. Thanks go out to Mary who was my lifeline to the outside world, to the staff at the Walford who brightened my days and to Dr. Wendy Graham of North Bay and Dr. Karlene Gleason of Thunder Bay for their excellent medical care. Cremation has taken place. The time of funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date. If you wish to donate in my name, I suggest donating to Community Living in North Bay.

I'm so sorry to learn of Theresa's passing. I always enjoyed our lunches together and considered her a model of how to live a good life. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time
