Harding It is with great sadness that the family of Thomas John Harding announce his passing at St. Joseph's Care Group on Tuesday, June 25th, 2002 following a courageous battle. John was born February 13th, 1926 in St. Boniface, Manitoba and was the son of the late Percy and Millie Harding. He had been employed with Domtar for 41 years, retiring in 1991. John was very active in his church and community. He enjoyed stamp collecting and swimming. A longtime member of Superior Lodge in Red Rock and very active in Port Arthur Lodge A.F. & A.M. #287. In his later years his life focused around his family and his home.John is survived by his wife Elisabeth, sons Michael (Rose), Thunder Bay and Martin (Robin), Winnipeg, daughter Allison, grandchildren Jordan, Madison, Alyssa, Brittany and Kaitlyn, sister-in-law Shirley Harding as well as a niece, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and by a brother James Harding. Funeral services for the late John Harding will be held on Tuesday, July 2nd at 11:00 a.m. when family and friends will gather at St. Michael & All Angels Anglican Church (corner of Red River Road and Rockwood Avenue) with Rev. Peter Smyth presiding. Inurnment rites will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy the family respectfully requests memorials to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation or to the Children's Wish Foundation.I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills,from whence cometh my help.My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.Psalm 121"
