NOVEMBER 21ST, 1952 –
APRIL 8TH, 2021
Son of Margaret Sumner and John Vincent Kelly, passed away on April 8th, 2021. He loved to travel. He spent two years in Europe in his twenties and went around the world on PAN AM with stops in Hawaii, Japan, Hong Kong, India, Iran and Germany. He loved cruising and toured the South Pacific and Mediterranean including stops in Morocco, Turkey, Israel, Egypt and Croatia. He refused to throw more coins in the Trevi Fountain in Rome, saying “I've been here enough times!”. His favourite destination was the many Caribbean islands and eventually he found his second winter home in Sint Maarten on Simpson Beach. Summers were spent at the log cabin on Silver Beach where we hosted daily 4:00 pm wine time with a host of neighbours and city friends. He is survived by his partner of 44 years, Gordon Milne and his sisters Margaret McBeath and Patricia Krol (Zdzislaw “Stan”), brothers Robert (Elsie), Terrance (Carolyn) and John (Debra). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces in the United States, Canada and Britain. Predeceased by his parents and brother Lawrence (Juanitta). Cremation has taken place and at his request, there will be no funeral service.

Gord, we are so sorry to hear about Tim. We wish for you comfort and peace. Like his mother, Tim was genuinely interested in what was going on in the lives of others, but always called a spade a spade. I have many fond memories of our gang’s summer antics at Silver Beach years ago, when Tim was often in the middle of things. More recently, we appreciated the summer hospitality you and Tim always offered. Take care.
