TRACY BUCHANAN-HARASYM Obituary
It is with a heavy heart and great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother. On September 24, 2025. Tracy Buchanan-Harasym passed away peacefully at the TBRHSC surrounded by her family.
Tracy was born on May 25, 1966, in Port Arthur, Ontario. Tracy was a devoted wife and mother with a beautiful soul. Her favorite thing in life was to spend time with her cherished husband, two daughters, her grandchildren and sister. She felt very lucky to work in a field she loved, working with the homeless initiative project through Bisno.
Tracy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by the love of her life and best friend her husband, with whom she spent 41 years, Gary, daughters Sonja and Sarah (Brandon), her beautiful grandchildren Trenten, Payten, Valerie, Braiden, Callie, Sean, and Connor, her sister Crystal (Michael) and nieces Celeste and Jessica as well as numerous cousins. Tracy is predeceased by her parents Beverly Buchanan and Frank Buchanan. Finally, we would like to give a special thank you to the Cancer Centre, Dr Ward, Dr. Simpson, registered nurse Jocelyn and nurse Iyke.

Such a beautiful, kind, caring, woman with the most altruistic passion for helping others. She was so beneficial to my late brother and his partner, I couldn't thank her enough for her guidance and support. I was saddened to hear of Tracy's passing. I worked with Tracy for 10 years at BISNO. She was a ray of sunshine, who cared deeply about her clients. She always spoke very lovingly of her husband, daughters, and grandchildren. I am so very sorry for your loss.
