VALERIE MAY (Peters) January 4, 1953 - October 29, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Valerie May (née Peters) on October 29, 2025, at the age of 72.
Valerie lived a life marked by hard work, and a deep love for her family and friends. She found joy in the simple pleasures, playing cards, rolling dice, and sharing stories and laughter. She had a great sense of humour and hearty laugh that will be fondly remembered.
She is survived by her loving brother, Ernie May, and his wife Dawn, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Valerie was predeceased by her parents, Frances and Victor May, and Frank Churchill, her son Gillis Millette, and siblings Wayne Peters, Marlene LeBouthillier, Wells May, Inez May, David May, and Shirley Chapman, as well as numerous other beloved relatives.
The family of Valerie would like to thank Harbourview Funeral Centre for their outstanding care and support during this difficult time.
A celebration of Valerie's life will be held in the R. Leino Memorial Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 presided by Pastor Ken Semeschuk at 11:00 a.m. Visitation for family and friends will begin one hour prior.
