VINCENZO MUZZI Obituary

VINCENZO MUZZI
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Mr. Vincenzo Muzzi at the age of 73. Vincenzo passed away peacefully on March 10, 2024 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with his loving family by his side.

Vincenzo was born on October 7, 1950 in Serra San Bruno, Italy. He first arrived to Thunder Bay, Canada in 1972 at the age of 22 and worked as a well-known Skidder Operator in the forest industry for almost 30 years.

Vincenzo was a proud member of the Italian Cultural Centre where he enjoyed playing card games and spending time with his friends.

Vincenzo will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Angela, the mother of his four children, Rosella, Frank (Monica), Maria (Cosimo), Laura and his two beautiful grandchildren Roman and Reign.

Vincenzo is also survived and will be missed by his siblings Rocco (Giuseppina), Catarina, Bruno (Pina) and Salvatore (Carmela).

He was predeceased by his parents Francesco Muzzi and Maria Rosa Grazia Larizza.

The family would like to thank all the staff at the TBRHSC, specifically the nurses and doctors on 2C. We would also like to thank everyone who came to spend time with Vincenzo during this extremely difficult time.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2024 in St. Anthony's Church, 123 Hilldale Road, where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Luigi Filippini. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. Private entombment will follow in Our Lady of Charity Mausoleum, St. Andrew's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Vincenzo's memory to our local Thunder Bay District Humane Society.

The Mass will be livestreamed at www.harbourviewfuneral.ca where condolences may be offered.
