Violet Victoria Aho

The family of Violet Victoria Aho (nee Larabee) are saddened to announce her peaceful passing at Hogarth Riverview Manor on Saturday August 26th, 2023 at the age of 92.

Violet is survived by her husband of 71 years Pentti, children Elaine (Phil), Diane, Richard (Brenda) and James. She was Nanny to 11 grandchildren,12 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers James (Joyce), Elgin (Sylvia), Nelson (Myrna), Alvin (Sylvia) and Jerry (Marilyn), and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, brother Andrew and sisters Inez, Rose and Edith, and her son-in-law Whitney.

There will be a celebration of life on September 3rd at 12 Hill Street, Kakabeka Falls Seniors Village from 1 to 4pm.

Thank you to the staff at Hogarth Orchid for their compassion and care for Violet.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
