It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Wally Kis Jr, aka “Littlebird”, on November 4, 2021. Wally was born on August 27, 1958 to Laura and Water Kis. Wally was the youngest of five children. From a young age Wally enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with his friends. His passion was riding his Harley Davidson through the streets of Thunder Bay. Restoring antique cars with his brother Raymond in the backyard garage was another of Wally's favourite things to do. His 69 Camaro was a prize possession. Wally met the love of his life Wendy, at a young age, and together they had two beautiful daughters Nicole and Brittany who gave Wally and Wendy 5 grandchildren. Making the children's birthday celebrations special was important to him whether it was a magic show or live pony rides. Wally was loved by his family, friends and especially his family pets.
He was predeceased by his father Walter Kis, brother-in-law Don Lamb and daughter Angel in infancy. He is survived by his mother Laura, brother Raymond (Morizia), sisters Janet (Ken), Catherine, Helen (Robert), wife Wendy, daughters, Nicole and Brittany, grandchildren Daniel, Alyssa, Shayla, Isaiah & Olivia.
A private funeral service will be held at The Blake Funeral Chapel at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorials to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
