Bill was a great step father to my son, Ryan and step grandfather to his children. He always treated them as his own. I consider myself lucky. My condolences to Darlene, Ryan and his family, from the bottom of my heart.

I had the pleasure of knowing Bill while at 22NR North Bay and at Air Command HQ Winnipeg. We had good times together. He was one of those individuals that you could rely on and would literally give the shirt of his back should you need it. Guys like him are one in a million, I am truly sorry to hear of his passing. RIP Maddog

I had the pleasure of serving with Bill at Beausejour and Air Command HQ. We also attended the 6B course together. Bill was "larger than life" and one of those "can do anything" guys. Whenever some of the guys that served with him get together at the Legion here in Winnipeg his name is sure to come up. He has gone to a far better place where hopefully we will all meet again. Condolences to his family may the stories and adventures never be forgotten.
