William Vale Obituary

January 22, 1943 –
December 26, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of William “Bill” Vale announces his sudden passing.

“I was born January 22, 1943 and began my much enjoyed life. I was born to loving parents Hilda (Annie) and Gordon Vale, whose upbringing I was truly grateful to have had. In my lifetime, I was thankful for being able to have enjoyed the things in life that were of value to me. I am thankful for the opportunity to play the sports I enjoyed such as hockey (Montreal Canadiens), baseball (Toronto Blue Jays) and football (Green Bay Packers). In my younger days I enjoyed restoring hot rods and going to sprint car races.”

Bill was most proud of his sons Dean, Ryan, and Michael and enjoyed time with the family and friends having barbeques with good food and drinks. Bill was a devoted father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time out at the camp on Lake Shebandowan. He loved joking, teasing and bugging the grandkids and had many laughs with everyone.

Bill is survived by absolute mate in everything Joanne Marie for many many years, Sons Dean (Donna), Ryan (Carrie), Michael (Kitty), stepson Keith (Denise), daughter in law Joyce Persaud, Grandchildren Nick (Vanessa), Tristan, Meyah, Dylan, Darrian, Brooklyn, Conner, Katrina, Austin, Angelina, Aaliyah, Christian and numerous cousins, special friends and neighbors.

Predeceased by his parents Hilda and Gordon and stepson Larry.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life to be arranged at a later date.

If fiends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the Thunder Bay Reginal Cardiac/ Respiratory Care Unit would be greatly appreciated by the family.
