YVONNE MARSH Obituary


Yvonne Marie Marsh, age 63 years passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre surrounded by the love of her family. Yvonne was born on September 4, 1961 in Port Arthur, Ontario. Yvonne worked as a nurse at Dawson Court for over 25 years. She loved the residents and her coworkers. She was very creative and loved sewing, embroidery and any type of craft. She also was an animal lover, especially cats and loved making cat toys and various items for local cat rescues and family/friends. She became a member of the Dragons of Hope dragon boating team. Yvonne will be lovingly remembered by her husband Brock Dunnett, by her daughter Nicole (J.W Townsend), by her stepson Austin Dunnett, by her best friend Vicki Welch, and by her cats Benjamin, Hank and Sadie. She was predeceased by her mother Adele Marsh and father Melbourne Marsh. The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses of 1A at the TBRHSC. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 in the chapel of Sargent and Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northern Cancer Fund or to the Thunder Bay & District Humane Society.
