With broken hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Zoey Faith Lamarche on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. Zoey was born on February 26, 2013 in Toronto, Ontario. Zoey was an amazing little girl who loved to watch Dora, the Cars movie and Toy Story, just to name a few. She loved to paint and would come home from school covered in it! She loved making messes, holding mom's hand, watching the trains go by and being part of the Parade of Lights... and most of all her favorite blanket.
She leaves behind her parents Mathew Lamarche and Amanda Mintenko. Brother Liam, sister Briley and dog Titus; Nana and Papa, Granmum, Grandpa (Lanny); numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to George Jeffrey Children's Centre, SickKids Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, Zoey's multineeds class at Algonquin School, her home care agencies and school nurse, her doctors and all the amazing staff in the ICU at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SickKids Hospital or George Jeffrey Children's Centre. On Monday, November 27, 2023, family will greet friends from 11-12pm, with a funeral service at 12pm, both at Sargent and Son Funeral Chapel. The service will also be livestreamed via Sargent & Son Facebook page. Zoey will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery following the chapel service.
