DANIEL R. PRESTON

March 30, 1957 - December 28, 2022

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Ross Preston. Danny passed away at Vancouver General Hospital on December 28, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Dan grew up in Langley, BC, where he met the love of his life, Judy, on New Year's Eve in 1976. After they married, they moved to the Sunshine Coast, where they raised their two children, Sam and Taylor. Danny was a carpenter by trade, building homes, hotels, and bridges throughout the province. He was dedicated to his craft and took pride in his work, especially in the homes he built for his family. Danny also loved golf and classic cars. Dan is survived by his wife of 42 years, Judy; son Sam (Laura); daughter Taylor (Darren), mother Bev; and brothers Richard (Lynn) and Jeff (Marla). He also leaves behind neighbours turned chosen family, Larry and Mary Braun. Danny was predeceased by his brother Warren in 2010 and his father Ross in 2021. The Preston family would also like to give a big thank you to Dr. John Hourigan for all his care over the years.
