GREG BARONS Obituary
March 13, 1940 - March 15, 2020
Please join us in celebrating the life of our dearly departed Greg. He is missed, but not forgotten. Come and raise a glass with cheer and remember the happy times.
He is missed by his wife Janice, children David (Michelle), Cheryl (Cam), Jeffrey (Lowin), Andrew (Natasha); grandchildren Joshua, Hanna, Megan, Lia, Steven, Nicole; brother Pete, many nieces and nephews and his cousin Eleanor.
Greg was born in Vancouver and at the age of 14 moved to a cattle ranch in the Cariboo. Later, the family moved to Ontario where he met his wife Janice. They returned to BC where they lived in North Vancouver and raised their four children before retiring to the Sunshine Coast in 2007. Greg loved hunting and boating. After moving to Gibsons he pursued his dream of flying and spent countless happy hours in the air with dear friends. Greg was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gibsons where they miss his smiling face during coffee Sundays.
A celebration of life will be held at St. Mary's Church on Gibsons Way on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11:00am. In memory, please donate to the BC Cancer Agency or BC Children's Hospital.
