I saw Howard about a month ago in Sunnycrest, and I'm remembering a time 40 years ago when he helped us purchase a collection of steel parts languishing on the foreshore in Gibsons harbour, before the marina existed. The picture is so apropos, so Howard. He doted on his children, and was always glad to see you. I am so glad I had a chance to see him one more time.

My best to his family and friends; he is missed.

A gentle soul with the patience of a buddhist monk...always 'enjoyed the occasional moments at the Legion when we talked about bands that were part of our history on the coast and emerging talents...you will be missed Howard....saw you last time at the Shell station. Kinda' felt things were slowing down for you. Rest easy.
