The Henderson Family
October 6, 2020
As a family of six siblings we had the great fortune to have Uncle James as our uncle. To all who knew him, Uncle James was simply put a wonderful guy.
Our Dad, Robert, and Uncle James were like brothers making their way from Scotland in pursuit of a better life for their families.
In our younger days growing up in our little house in Malton, our parents hosted many, many parties in their basement and Uncle James and Aunty Mary were always part of that wonderful clan of people who would party to the early hours of the morning. We remember "pop in" visits to see the Campbell family in their Bramalea house and we were always made so welcome.
To us Hendersons, Uncle James was always warm and caring. He was a great listener always taking an interest in all of our lives. He was a great story teller, had a wonderful laugh, an infectious spirit and a real charitable way.
Uncle James and sweet Aunty Mary were a great couple and role models for us kids and they raised a wonderful family.
Uncle James will be missed by all of us but we are happy to know that Uncle James has joined our Mum and Dad for a few more parties up in Heaven.
Love the Hendersons,
Steve (Linda), Mark (Karyssa), Sean (Sue), Kevin (Jenn), Lesley (Kruno) and Annie (Chris).
