Andrew SLATER Obituary

SLATER, Andrew Charles Born March 19, 1983, passed away suddenly at home in Burnaby on November 5, 2020. He is survived by his father, Alan Slater, mother, Dee McRae, and sisters, Jeska Slater and Joanne Mills, as well as many relatives near and far. Andrew was a kind soul who was loved by those who knew him. He is in our hearts and minds and will always be remembered especially for his smile. There is will be no service at this time but a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Andrew was a bright star that went out too soon. I used to love working with him. Every day, he was always the first one to work and with a big smile at the ready and would say, "where do o start today?" Wish I could have gone fishing with him.

My sincere condolences to Andy’s family and friends. I did not spend much time with Andy except at boat show time and we always had so much fun. Andy worked tirelessly setting up the boat shows. We were able to have some good sailing on the way back from Seattle. Video attached. Good memories I will not forget. RIP my friend.
