Anne Carroll

Anne Carroll (nee Caruk) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother, Annie (Anne) Carroll. Anne was born, July 9th, 1934 on the family farm in Garland Manitoba and then left Garland in her teens to attend University in Winnipeg and on to join the RCAF in Vancouver in 1956. From the Air Force she went to work as a Flight attendant with TCA, was married to (Andrew) in 1960 and had three boys, Michael, Dana and Christopher. The boys were her life and while raising them on her own, she worked full time as a bookkeeper, attended University and obtained her CGA designation at UBC. Anne continued to work for various companies throughout her career up until the day she passed. This was how she was; an inspiration and a role model to many, a dedicated and loyal mother to her boys and a loving grandmother. She will be fondly remembered by her sons for her unwavering support throughout the years and was a true inspiration. Until we meet again… Anne is survived by her three sons and five grandchildren, Michael (Linda), Dana (Cynthia), Christopher (Kristen) and Tayler, Jake, Connor, Carson and Brennen. The Carroll's will hold a Celebration of Life for Family and Close Friends on Saturday November, 22 at 5520 Grove Avenue between 12 and 4PM and in lieu of flowers anyone wishing to extend their blessings or support are encouraged to donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon. http://www.heartandstroke.bc.ca (In Memorium) Arrangements are entrusted to Glenhaven Memorial Chapel, www.glenhavenmemorialchapel.com
