FLAMING, Anne Liese
March 13, 1952 - January 28, 2025
After a long, hard battle with cancer, Anne passed away at Irene Thomas Hospice in Ladner with John (husband of 52 years) and family by her side. She was a beloved wife and mother to Mark (Cheri), Luke (Lindsey), and Steven (Cecilia), and Oma to her Grandchildren Emitt, Isla, and Harvey.
Anne was proud to be a Canadian of German heritage who loved camping, travelling, and cruising with John to distant destinations with sunny climates.
Anne loved family, walking, hiking, and camping with friends. She was also very crafty. Often, she would knit slippers, hats and dishcloths, which would disappear at every event and function she brought them to. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at the Irene Thomas Hospice and Delta Hospital for their dedicated care in the last days of her life.
Anne (Oma), we wish you peaceful travels on your next grand adventure. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, February 14, at Church on Five, 10200 #5 Rd. Richmond, BC, at 11:00am.
