Arlene's bright smile, infectious laugh and kind soul will be missed by all who knew her.
The family, daughters Kaila, Emma, Claire, and Grace, husband, Scott, partner Dale Stewart, brothers, Robert (Dinah) and Stephen; In-Laws & best friends Sara & Blair Geekie, would like to thank the Delta Hospital & The Irene Thomas Hospice.

I just heard of Arlene's passing today. Girls, I am so sorry to hear that she has passed on. Your Mom and I had some great conversations and I really enjoyed talking to her. She was a wonderful strong woman and she instilled those qualities in all of you. My heart goes out to you all during these hard times. Please know that you are in my thoughts. Love Caroline

Arlene, you are still such a light in my life, and how I treasured our friendship over the years. Your words of wisdom and laughter, I will alway hold dear to my heart. I cannot believe you are gone from this world. I pray you are with your mom and dad and will always look over your beautiful daughters, who are your legacy forever. My heart breaks for your family. Such sad, sad news. Arlene and I were friends in high school - she sat in front me in one of my classes in grade 12 and we became good friends. I got to hear all about her wedding plans - I think I may have helped her in a bit of the planning. I always thought of Arlene as my grown up /mature friend - wise beyond her years ! Went to her wedding and had sooooo much fun! Visited with her at our 20 year grad reunion and got caught up with life and her family - whom she adored and loved so much. Wish we kept in contact over the years. Good reminder for me to keep in touch with people we care about no matter how busy our lives get. Rest in peace Arlene Nelson - my good buddy from high school.
