Barry ROBERTS Obituary
ROBERTS, Barry Alan Barry Alan Roberts born January 12, 1939 in Kettering, Northants, England passed away surrounded by his children on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 4:04 pm after a short illness. Barry was predeceased in 2003 by Gladys, his loving wife of 45 years. Barry will be lovingly remembered by his sister Shirley, and his four children. Barry and his family immigrated to Canada in 1977 and settled in Ladner where they became involved in the community from the very beginning. Barry was an electrician until his retirement and was a long-time member of the Delta Lodge as well as a past member of the Delta Amateur Radio Society. In recent times, you could often find Barry in a coffee shop doing crosswords with his friends and sharing laughs. Barry will be missed by all who knew him. He has left us with fond memories and great stories to comfort us through this time. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 17th, 2022 at the Ladner Odd Fellows Hall at 5425 Ladner Trunk Road from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. All are welcome. Please bring your stories to share. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation in Barry's name, would be greatly appreciated.

Barry and I met and worked together at Budget Appliances in Surrey.
At least a couple times a week we used to go for Chinese food lunch.
We both loved the curry chicken.
I always enjoyed our conversations, he was interesting man and a wealth of knowledge. We started out as workmates and ended as friends. A kindred spirit, He is missed...
