Dawna Louise Giffin

11/21/1953 - 09/22/2025

After a valiant struggle against cancer, Dawna slipped from this life gently in her sleep in Ladner, B.C.

Through every trial, and there were many, Dawna accepted the challenge head-on. As the challenges grew more overwhelming she did not falter! Dawna lived every moment to the greatest enjoyment that she could achieve. We thought we had all the time in the world ahead of us, but the end came quicker than any of us could imagine.

Daughter of the late Flora and Lloyd Giffin of Smiths Falls, Dawna had the unwavering support of her partner Kevin Graham , who said "Dawna is the most courageous person I have ever known". She was sister to Jane Webster (late Craig Cambell)and Gordon Giffin (Nancy Cain) and the much loved Aunt of Bryan Liscomb, Liam, Caitlin and Emma Giffin. Dawna was also a lifelong friend of Elizabeth Burtch and Judy Burrows and more recently of Roseline Malley.

A lifetime in the service industry as a server Dawna met and befriended hundreds of people. I am sure they know how lucky they were to have met and known her.

A special loving thank you to those who supported Dawna through everything, especially Shirli Graham and Roseline Malley.
