Deborah Belanger Obituary
July 22, 1952 - October 16, 2025
It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Deborah Currie Belanger. She passed away peacefully with her family by her bedside.
She leaves behind her husband David; daughters Sara Corneil and Jeff, Corrielyn McKim, and Brad; grandchildren Tristan, Claudia, and Jackson, Corneil, Aleisha, Braelyn, and Kyla McKim; brother Jim; and mother Barb Mitchell.
Deborah and David started dating in 1968 and were married on November 1, 1969, in Kitchener, Ontario. Deborah loved playing bridge and sports. In her younger days, she was a master 5-pin bowler, she played tennis, golf, curled, and lawn bowled. Deborah worked in the insurance business in Kitchener, and David's Aerospace career took them West, they relocated to Vancouver in 1990, and Deborah found an insurance job right downtown Vancouver. They lived in Ladner for 8 years, then Cloverdale for a couple of years, and finally settled in Tsawwassen in 2000. She was a member of Beach Grove Golf Club for several years until her health (COPD) forced her to stop playing golf. Deborah continued to play bridge at the club and truly enjoyed the company of the ladies she played bridge with.
Deborah loved her family dearly and will forever be in our hearts.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
