Donna Macrae Obituary

It is with great sadness that I announce the sudden passing of Donna Macrae at her home. Donna had faced health challenges for some time, but her passing was unexpected and leaves a profound void in the lives of all who knew her.

Donna was born in Vancouver and became a long-term resident of the magic Village of Boundary Bay. Donna found joy in the simple pleasures of life—gardening, spending time with her beloved dogs Brandy, Carlee, and Pepper, and savouring a glass of Pinot Grigio with ice. She will be remembered for her kind, affectionate, and loyal nature and as a true friend whose warmth and compassion touched many.

Donna was predeceased by her brother, Neil Macrae. She is survived by her loving partner of 40 years, Bill Didur, and her cherished puppy, Pepper.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

I was deeply saddened to hear of my sister-in-law's passing. She was a kind, gentle soul who always had an optimistic view on life. It was lovely to stay in touch and share updates on our lives after Neil's passing. Her positive, and fun-loving energy will be greatly missed.

I learned of Donna´s passing while I was away in Africa and had chatting outside our buildings just before I left.
What upsetting news. I loved our long chats while walking our pups, Pepper and Sofie, born a couple of weeks apart. She was such a joy and valued friend.
I will miss her immensely.

It is with sadness that Robert and I learn of Donna's passing. I so enjoyed our chats during our walks with our pooch, Bailey. It was always lovely to see her and Pepper out on Springs Blvd. Our deepest condolences to the family. She will be greatly missed. Robert & Gail Shapiro
