I worked with Ed in the early 1980's in Victoria. He was an engaging, thoughtful, and fun person to be with. He was , as I recall, an excellent physician, who proved that description during his medical career. my condolences to the family for their loss.

I first met Ed Lerner in the 1960's. His best friend was my next door neighbour. I met him again in the 1990's when he became my parents' family doctor He took excellent care of my family through to end of life care for my aged parents. He was truly caring, even taking the time to attend my Mother's memorial service. We also had special needs children in common and attended training sessions at the Delta Child Care Center where my wife recalls crawling around on the floor with him during role playing exercises. We will continue to have fond memories of Ed, and do miss his friendly disposition and smile.

Dr.Lerner was my family Dr. From 1987-2019. He was always kind. And concerned for my family. I followed him from Richmond to Ladner and then we moved to Tsawwassen and followed him there. I told him on his last day I saw him at work. It was going to be weird not seeing him. And that I was probably his oldest patient. Not old but been his patient the longest. He brought my two youngest children into the world. I was 26 when I first started seeing him. I am now 65. RIP Dr. Lerner.
